didn’t see you there 😉
I took this picture somewhere in the Andes in the north of Argentina. It is unbelievable how warm this wool is – the air was quite refreshing outside, but once you put your hand in the fur it was incredibly cozy.
then it bit me …
sweet…I love llamas.
after my trip I thought about buying one 😉
Charming fellow…I wonder whether he enjoys snuggling with strangers? Great image. I can almost reach in and touch that wonderful fur…
It didn’t seem to mind – got some cuddling shots as well 😀
Lots of Llamas and Alpacas farms here in Colorado.
. . . maybe I should go see where they came from.
Definitely won’t regret that – South America is amazing!
bah! love this.
Haha! I hope it was a gentle bite 🙂
yeah – just wanted a little taste – I could see a hematoma though 🙂
fantatic shot – and fantastic expression of the model too 😉
Thanks a lot!
Lovely photos, glad I found your blog!
Thank you Amanda!
I love this shot – it’s so up close and personal. By the way, did he ever spit at you? LOL
Thanks!
actually no – I was worried about that more than biting in the beginning as well 😉
He looks so smug and so sweet and soft at the same time. I don’t know if I should duck for cover or run over and give him a snuggle. It makes me wish I’d been with you with my camera. Kudos!
yeah – it lures his unsuspecting victims closer and then bites them 😉
Cute but those eyelashes hide its true disposition obviously! Nice.
Thank you 🙂
Oh, what a beautiful animal. He does look very warm.
It was 🙂 – like a little oven 🙂
He/she is gorgeous! Makes you want to kiss him right on the end of his nose!
He was a little biter though 😉
ahhh this is sooo cute 🙂 What a great picture! 😀 Made me smile, thank you 😀
Thank you Kristina for the nice comment!
Look at those huge eyes! Love!
Thank you Anastasia!

Peace and love,

Thank you Tammy!
Be glad you didn’t turn your back on this camel-like creature. Watch to the end.
haha – well – mine seemed a little more peaceful 😉 – But I would get annoyed as well if people would scream at me from different directions 😉
Lol 😀
Beautiful shot! So sorry he bit you. ;( Warning: they also have a mean spit with a good aim.. ! ick.
Thank you Judy – I heard about that, but at least that I didn’t experience 😉
Beautiful photo – and the bite! Oh, my!
well – wasn’t that bad – still gives content for a nice anecdote 😉
A bite is not much better than being spat upon, but I suppose one without the other is better than insult to injury. Fabulous shot.
Red.
Thank you Red!
that is just one great picture :’)
Thank you Sharp! 🙂
Wonderful photograph!
Thank you Meanderer!
Outstanding. Wonderful deep color and clear textures.
Thank you Kathryn!
Fantastic shot!
Thank you Janice!
I loved your line “and then it bit me”. You made this insomniac laugh out loud. Thanks!
Cool.
Haha…wonderful photo 🙂 I had a couple encounters with camels, but luckily, none bit, spit, kicked or killed as I was told they can do.
he’s beautiful 🙂 Thanks for the Like, I’m really enjoying your photos.
