About Me

Hello all,

I am Stefan, originally from Austria, currently living in Brussels, Belgium and as you can guess photography is something like a hobby of mine :).

After more and more people wanted to see my pictures I decided to start this blog to share it with a larger audience.

If you click on the pictures the high quality (larger size) picture will open – feel free to share, but please ask before you use my pictures πŸ™‚

Hope you enjoy my pictures!

  1. You have fertile grounds from which to get inspiration for your photos.

I visited Europe a couple of times, but before I went digital. I really should get back there.

Anyway, thanks for visiting my blog.

  2. Hello Stefan, thanks for dropping by to like my Snow Day at 20 Lines A Day. I’m going to take some time now to see what you’re doing here on your blog. πŸ™‚

  3. Hi Stefan

thank you so much for stopping by my place earlier and “liking” one of my posts;- that really means a lot to me πŸ™‚

I love what you are doing here – you’ve got a great eye for details, lighting and perception.

I’ll have to snoop around your older posts some more, but so far my fav’s would have to be the the Jan 16th (composition, lighting, texture) and the Jan 18th (lighting, texture, balance, mood) posts of yours – Keep up the good work!

Good luck on your studies (I hear Vienna is gorgeous!)

    Hope to see you around,

    πŸ™‚ K.

  4. Hi, thanks for liking my post the other day, your support is appreciated. I hope that you’ll drop back soon and possibly leave me your thoughts on what I’m doing right and more importantly what I’m doing wrong.

In the meantime, you have a great blog and I’ll defo be back again.

  5. Hi Stefan,
Thank you for viewing my posts. I like your temple by night. I like how you handle the light and the contrast. If you can move your camera more to the left. I think the picture will look more unique, because the right space side track my attention and focus.

  6. I want to thank you for visiting my site and liking my Photo Garden. Your photos are amazing and I love your perspective. I have done a series of photos from odd perspectives and it’s one of my favorites. I truly look forward to following your work and your point of view.

    1. It is mostly luck I guess πŸ˜‰ – I have never had a proper course or so – I do have a photography book, but to be honest I never really studied it πŸ˜‰

  7. Thank you for visiting “Eyes to Heart” and liking my post “Milling the Wind …” … I visited Vienna last fall and absolutely loved it! I’m such an historic city junkie and Vienna is one of my favourites. … What I like about your photography is how every picture hints at a story. … Be well, Dorothy πŸ™‚

  8. I can already tell your blog is going to be one of my favorites! Fantastic photography. You have a very good eye for finding that unique perspective. I look forward to following your work! Thanks for stopping by my blog.

    1. Thank you very much, but I really don’t know who I could pass it on anymore – got like 5 awards in recent weeks and each is supposed to be passed on to 10 people … (after I already passed on many of those awards I can’t do it anymore πŸ™‚ (and since it is kind of a pyramid scheme :P)

  9. Thanks for stopping by our blog. Like you, I love taking photos but am still a novice and the blog gives me an excuse to stop in the middle of my tracks to take photos πŸ˜‰

  10. Thanks for stopping by my blog. Looking forward to a lot more Vienna photography next year as I have a major event in the city.

  14. I would have contacted you by email if that had been possible rather than in a comment.

A good photograph and explanation of your viewpoint, however it is important when supplying information, especially on a subject of this importance,to get the correct information. The information supplied from a previous post is wrong.
The Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe in the centre of Berlin is the German Holocaust Memorial honouring and remembering the up to six million Jewish victims of the Holocaust.
On December 15, 2004 the memorial was finished. It was dedicated on May 10, 2005 as part of the celebration of the 60th anniversary of V-E Day and opened to the public two days later. Holocaust survivor Sabina Wolanski was chosen to speak on behalf of the six million dead.

25million is the number of euros it cost to construct.
I have written it here rather than on the post so you can correct your information and delete this comment, without it detracting from your image.

    1. Thank you for taking time to tell me all this – I will edit it as soon as possible and will of course mention your input with a link to your blog (how it is supposed to be ;))

  15. I get pleasure from, cause I found exactly what I used to be looking for.
