This is the result of my first test of macro photography of a pink rose. The picture shows less than a centimeter of it. Since it was raining a little the rose had waterdrops on it.
The rose was one of the last ones to still look pretty, since is getting cold in Vienna, especially during the night, but Volksgarten is a park with hundreds of different roses so some seem to be especially durable ;).
Since it always a delicate gift since every colour has a different meaning here the one for pink roses:
“There are many variations of pink roses and all ues of pink communicate sweetness and elegance. Light pink roses show happiness, joy and admiration. If you want to send an expression of gratitude deep pink roses are perfect because they symbolize appreciation and thankfulness.” (found here click)
