quiet night


The Museumsplein in Amsterdam is very quiet at night (contrary to the place during the daylight).  To the right you can see the Van Gogh Museum.

The building in the center is the most important (classical) concert hall in the netherlands, the Concertgebouw that was opened in 1888.

  1. Beautiful, and really impressive! I dream of getting this kind of color and depth in night shots.

    The moon, and the light just above it, have a perfect relationship to the Van Gogh Museum.
    Also, as small as it is, the moon nevertheless balances the two buildings, providing the tip of a triangle of light.
    I love this!
