all the way down to the bottom

A shot down between the escalators of the public library of Amsterdam. Besides the colourful artwork on the bottom floor the picture is very repetitive and cold. It seems to force my view straight down the middle and makes me count the floors I am passing.

As always I recommend clicking on the smaller picture to see everything better!

  1. Ooo I like this a lot :)

  2. A modern twist on the endless spiral staircase image study. I can look at this and not quite feel vertigo. This is a fantastic shot.

  3. Good one, I like a bit of ‘off the wall’ – or down the hole in this case! ;)

  4. That’s a very interesting perspective. A really like how all the different lines feel very Escheresque!

  5. I like the composition and the lines. Very creative. I also like your blog theme. Thanks for checking out my blog.
